Small Towns, Mountains and Rural Plains
In the charts that we link to below, you'll find basic real estate statistics for some of the less populated towns and areas in Boulder County. These include Nederland, Niwot, and Lyons as well as the high mountain areas in Boulder County, the foothills just above Boulder, and the rural plains to the east and north of Boulder.
These data are reported in two sections below, one based on charts that make it easy to compare communities and one based on charts that focus on one community or area at a time.
All the stats in this section are based on sales data from county real estate tax records aggregated by the Metrolist MLS system. Since the annual number of sales in these areas and communities is low, all of these pricing stats should be taken with a grain of salt. Still, they may be useful in providing a general picture of what's happening in these market areas.
In addition to the stats below, we have provided much more extensive statistical data on the larger communities in our area in the other pages of this section of our site. The larger communities covered in those sections are Boulder, Gunbarrel, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Longmont, Erie, Arvada, Broomfield and Westminster.
